Biography

Dr. Fathy Abdalla is broadly trained and experienced, having practiced for 12 years. During this time, he has worked with individuals of all ages, couples and families. He received a M.B.CH.B from Alexandria University, a Master of Public Health from King’s College London, a PhD from Columbia University, and M.B.A in healthcare Management from Regis University. Dr. Abdalla graduated the New Jersey Institute for Training in Psychoanalysis, where he is a faculty member, lecturer, and control analyst. He has written articles on dream analysis, integration of psychological treatment modalities, and holocaust survivors. He is DBT certified clinician (DBT-LBC), CBT certified analyst, and BCIA Clinical Neurofeedback Certification. Dr. Abdalla is a co-founder, treasurer, and editorial board member of the Journal for the Advancement of Scientific Psychoanalytic Empirical Research (J.A.S.P.E.R.), a member of APA, NAAP, European Psychiatric Association EPA, Swiss Society of Neuroscience, Association for Applied Psychophysiology and Biofeedback (AAPB), and Alpha Sigma Nu – Jesuit Honor Society.
