My primary strengths include treatment for disorders associated with grief, anxiety, depression and trauma. I graduated with my MSW in 2000 and have been licensed as a LCSW since 2004. I spent most of my career working as a civilian LCSW for the Army working with Service Members and their families. While my experience for the Army and Veteran’s Administrative was extensive, I retired from Federal service two years ago. I have spent the past four years primarily conducting virtual therapy. I have experience in transitions such as loss and grief, marital disruptions, anxiety coping strategies and somatic based therapy modalities. My experience has included young adults to seniors.
I have obtained training in treatment for depression and anxiety related disorders with Acceptance and Commitment therapy and trauma such as EMDR, Cognitive Processing, Exposure Therapy, and Emotional Freedom Therapy. I have training in Compassionate Bereavement which includes sudden loss however applies to all losses in life. I look forward to meeting with you!
