I am a Licensed Associate Counselor who is passionate about empowering clients to reach their full potential, increase self-esteem, and attain emotional freedom. By building trust through compassion, validation, and encouragement I work with clients to create attainable treatment goals. I believe that each person is an expert in themselves and given the tools, opportunity, and support can be empowered to overcome any struggle.
My credentials include MS in Mental Health Counseling from College of New Rochelle, as well as Advanced Certification in Career Development and Thanatology (Grief and Bereavement). I have experience with inpatient, partial care, residential, private and telehealth settings. I love
working with adults, adolescents, couples, families and seniors.
Issues that I work on include Depression, Anxiety, ADHD, Bipolar, Schizophrenia, and other severe mental illnesses; Grief and Loss, Anger Management, Stress Management, Disordered Eating/Eating Disorders, LGBTQI+ related issues, low self-esteem, loss of purpose, and overcoming personal challenges. I believe in utilizing a multi-faceted modalities that are unique to each individual that often include: Motivation Interviewing, Solution Based Person Centered Therapy, Narrative Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy.
